The MGS “Unearth a Story” initiative offers a digital toolkit with resources for libraries and families, designed to make Earth science engaging for children and adults alike. The toolkit includes:

• Media resources – videos, slide decks, and links on topics like fossils, dinosaurs, and Earth’s history (e.g., What Are Fossils?, Eons, Mary Anning, Fossil Hunter).
• Maker resources – hands-on activities for creating models, fossils, or other science projects.
• Fun & games – interactive games and activities for recreation and learning.
• Booklist – a recommended reading list from the National Earth Science Teachers Association.

MGS can provide:

• Speaker presentations on local geology and paleontology.
• Exhibit tables and hands-on activities at libraries.
